1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the MyAccountable.ai mobile application and website (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email.

2. Description of Service

MyAccountable.ai is a daily accountability tracking application that allows users to log daily tasks, set structured goals, and receive detailed analytics on progress, consistency, completion rates, and trends. The Service includes automated daily, weekly, and monthly reports.

The Service is designed to support personal goal achievement using principles from behavioural psychology and habit formation research. It is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice.

3. Account Registration

You must create an account to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the applicable age of consent in your jurisdiction) to create an account.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

MyAccountable.ai offers subscription-based access. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to the respective platform's terms.

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription through your device's app store settings.
• Refunds are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store in accordance with their respective refund policies.
• We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. Existing subscribers will be notified in advance and may cancel before the new pricing takes effect.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service, other accounts, or connected systems.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without permission.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity.

6. Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you input into the Service (tasks, goals, notes, and related content). By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

Our use of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, features, branding, content, and all associated intellectual property, is owned by MyAccountable.ai and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We do not guarantee any specific results from using the Service. Your progress and outcomes depend on your own actions and consistency.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MyAccountable.ai and its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or engage in behaviour that harms other users or the Service.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Data deletion follows the process described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services (e.g., Apple App Store, Google Play Store). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party service. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their respective terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
