MyAccountable.ai ("we," "us," or "our") operates the MyAccountable.ai mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

  • Task and goal data: Daily tasks, goals, deadlines, completion records, importance and difficulty ratings, and any notes you enter.
  • Purchase information: Subscription tier and purchase history processed through Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or our payment processors. We do not store your credit card or payment details directly.
  • Support requests: Any information you provide when contacting us for support.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage data: Features used, pages viewed, actions taken within the app, session duration, and interaction patterns.
  • Device information: Device type, operating system version, app version, unique device identifiers, and language settings.
  • Diagnostic data: Crash logs, performance data, and error reports to help us improve app stability.

2.3 Information We Do Not Collect

  • We do not collect precise location data.
  • We do not access your contacts, photos, or camera.
  • We do not collect health or fitness data from device sensors.
  • We do not collect financial information beyond subscription status.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
  • Generate your progress analytics, reports, streaks, and performance metrics.
  • Send you automated daily, weekly, and monthly accountability reports.
  • Process your subscription and manage your account.
  • Improve and optimise the Service through aggregated analytics and A/B testing.
  • Monitor and fix crashes, bugs, and performance issues.
  • Respond to your support requests and communicate service updates.
  • Enforce our Terms & Conditions and prevent misuse.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may receive your data. Each provider is contractually required to protect your data to a standard equal to or exceeding this Privacy Policy:

  • Supabase — Authentication and database hosting.
  • RevenueCat — Subscription and in-app purchase management.
  • PostHog — Product analytics and A/B testing.
  • Sentry — Crash monitoring and error reporting.
  • Apple App Store / Google Play Store — App distribution and payment processing.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for advertising or marketing purposes.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and task data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will permanently delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain certain records (e.g., purchase history for tax compliance).

Aggregated, anonymised data that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely for analytical and product improvement purposes.

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS/SSL), encrypted data at rest, secure authentication protocols, and access controls. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from within the app under Settings > Account > Delete Account. Upon deletion, all personal data including tasks, goals, progress history, and reports will be permanently removed within 30 days. Active subscriptions must be cancelled separately through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

9. Children's Privacy

MyAccountable.ai is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover that we have collected data from a child without appropriate parental consent, we will delete that data promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

10. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed and stored in countries outside your own, including the United States. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for any international transfers in compliance with applicable data protection laws.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
